G Sreedevi could not persue her studies after class 3 due to her disability and poverty. Indian Muscular Dystrophy Association, Machilipatnam (A.P.) arranged for an instructor and provided her with all the necessary material and support. Starting from water colours, she has now graduated to oil colours, her speciality being mythological paintings.
