Ms. Sudha Kashibhai Patel

Sudha Kashibhai Patel lost her vision at birth. But her disability could not stop her from being a distinguished and respectable person of the country.

She entered Andh Kanya Prakash Grah at the age of 6. She was considered as an expert in her studies and always stood first in her class. Upto class 12 she studied at the institution and after the she did B.A. and B.Ed. (this course is designed specially for visually challenged persons).

She wanted to be a lecturer in future. But destiny had something else for her. She got appointed in the post of “Sarpanch” at the age of 22. Now-a-days she is working happily for the blind children. She is involved in social service also. Not only she received various awards in India, but she received awards from different countries also.
