Artificial foot

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has now developed an artificial limb, said to be "much lighter and more durable" than the commonly used "Jaipur foot or leg". "The foot is made of polyurethane, one of the several composite materials developed by the Sarabhai Centre for use as an ingredient to make rocket motors," said an official.
